[Invited Talk] Freeing Computer Vision from Its Fundamental Limits

Abstract(in English) In this talk, I will discuss our efforts towards enabling computer vision to break free from conventional limitations imposed by inherent, fundamental assumptions by drawing mainly on our recent research on material recognition and radiometric image decomposition, liquid appearance modeling, and human behavior modeling in crowded scenes.
