Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | When a natural disaster occurs, numerous messages (i.e., “tweets”) related to the disaster are posted on Twitter. Especially, in the case of a large-scale natural disaster, there are victims who use the hashtag “#救助” (means “#Rescue”) on the tweets to request a rescue. The effectiveness of such rescue request tweets using this kind of hashtag has been discussed in several papers. In this paper, we collect and analyze tweets with the rescue request hashtags posted during and after the July 2018 Heavy Rain Disaster in Japan. |
