Abstract(in English) | Accurate estimation of glottal vibration and vocal tract shape in singing voice with high fundamental frequency (fo) have been difficult using the simulated model of glottal source waveform and vocal tract shape. Therefore, this paper aims to accurately estimate glottal source waveform and vocal tract shape for singing voice with wide frequency range. For achievement of the objective, it is necessary that two problems of previous methods are solved: inaccurate estimation of the glottal source waveform because of difficulty of estimation for Glottal Closure Instant (GCI), and inaccurate estimation of the vocal tract filter in singing voice with high fo because of disregard of the leaking effect from forwarded periods. We propose two solutions: estimation of GCI using EGG signal with high sampling frequency, and estimation of ARX model parameter values using multi-stage optimization with an evaluation function which includes the leaking effect from forwarded periods. Experiments using simulated singing voices and real singing voices show that estimation errors of glottal source waveform and vocal tract shape in singing voice with high fo are reduced. Then, we can estimate glottal source waveform and vocal tract shape in singing voice with wide frequency range by the proposed method. |
