Abstract(in English) | We designed a shortened exponentially tapered TEM horn for use in close proximity radiated immunity testing and optimized antenna characteristics from numerical simulations by the finite integration technique. A first prototype of antenna was fabricated and evaluated the reflection characteristic of the antenna and the field uniformity of the test area. The results of these experiments and numerical simulations show that the proposed antenna exhibits a low VSWR and broadband radiation characteristics, and that it satisfies the requirements of the test standard. |
