Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this study, we investigated the integrated process of some sensory information during active self-rotational-motion along the yaw axis. We measured the behavioral response with manipulating the velocity of visual stimuli. In the experiment, visual stimulus was presented on a HMD and the optical flow speed of static visual stimuli was manipulated. The observers were instructed to rotate to a specified angle from the initial position. Results showed that both rotated angle and rotation speed decreased with the optical flow speed increased. This result indicates that the speed of visual motion affects the speed of self-rotation subconsciously.
