Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) P300 is an event related potential in the electroencephalogram (EEG) elicited by visual or sound stimulus and used for P300 speller that is one of Brain Computer Interfaces (BCIs) for inputting characters. However, EEG generally contains a lot of noises and the characteristic components are buried in the noise. Thus, various feature extraction methods are used to extract the feature such as P300 from EEG. In this paper, we study the discrimination of P300 converted to frequency components using convolutional neural network (CNN).
