Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Many research studies have been conducted about the gap between actual physical quantity and psychophysical quantity on spatial perception from the viewpoints of vision and the somatosensory system. Some reports showed that the quantity of the gap changes according to the distance between the hand and the bodies. However, considering the mechanism of the position sense, variance of the gap can occur depending on the pointing targets. In the field of vision, the Helmholtz horopter is well known; therefore, we used the somatosensory horopter for our experiments and determined the effect of acceleration on the somatosensory horopter. As a result, the pointing area tended to vary in the area that needed to twist and under the influence of gravitational acceleration.
