Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Due to wide deployment of IPv6, security issues in IPv6 network is becoming more and more important. Scanning all IP addresses is easy in IPv4 network, but not feasible in IPv6 network because of its vast address space. Thus, researchers propose various methods to generate hitlists of active IPv6 addresses. In this work, we glean IPv6 addresses in various application-based methods, and characterize the collected addresses in terms of geographical distribution and types of interface ID. Finally we discuss appropriate methods to collect IPv6 addresses for different purposes.
