Abstract(in English) | Diverse and extreme requirements in the 5G mobile and IoT services pose notable challenges to wireless backhaul networks. Particularly, their edge, namely fronthaul (FH), has to be high-capacity, low-latency, reliable and flexible than ever before. In this report, some recent advancements on ‘overloading’ techniques to improve the FH utilization will be introduced including; a low-latency space-time compression for massive MIMO RF waveforms, a signal detection technique in massive IoT scenarios. |
