Frame aggregation for High throughput and fairness in densely deployed WLANs

Abstract(in English) We here propose a novel control method using frame aggregation in order to achieve higher fairness among wireless LANs (WLANs) and higher total throughput. Along with penetration of wireless communication of mobile WiFi and tethering, many WLANs are suffered from radio interfere with each other. The proposed method adjust frame aggregation size and/or Contention Window size according to radio interference condition of each WLAN. The frame aggregation size has to be determined by complicated relations of factors such as distances between WLANs. Performance evaluation results show that the proposed method has 66% improvement than conventional method in terms of throughput with keeping fairness to a specific value.
