Radiation detection experiment by Nb superconducting resonator

Abstract(in English) We propose radiation camera relying on the Microwave Kinetic Inductance Detector which potentially have high energy resolution and easiness of read out system. In this research we exmained two types of KIDs for our camera. The detectors were installed into a 0.5 K cryostat and exposed to alpha-rays (5.49, 5.44 MeV) radiated from americium source. The radiation responses were measured. and the signal-to-noise ratio of the both types were 5-7. On the other hand, the relaxation time of the signal varied as 10 μ[sec] with respect to 0.5 μ[sec]
