Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We are studying adiabatic quantum flux parametron (AQFP), which is an ultra-low power logic, in order to achieve future supercomputers. AQFP logic uses transformers for data propagation and logic negation; however, in general, it is difficult to miniaturize the transformers. Therefore, we propose inverting quantum flux parametron (iQFP) logic, which is based on AQFP logic but can achieve inverters without using transformers. Since transformers are not used, the circuit area is expected to reduce. The operation of iQFP circuits was confirmed by simulation, and then experimental demonstrations were carried out.
