Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper presents the outline of a tentative conclusion of a thought experiment in analyzing workflow functionality. It adopted the approach of Innovation Architecture, with a view to build up a methodology about architectural synthesis in the future, that has been a long-term interest of the author. There were two main reasons to demonstrate this trial evaluation were as follows; the first was to seek clues in order to clarify relationships between the technical elements in BPM and Scientific Workflow and their contributable effects. The second was to identify the limitation of the approach applying the Innovation Architecture as a fundamental framework in the targeted methodology about the previous architectural synthesis. The Innovation Architecture has the potentiality to overlook and show the adaptability of individual elemental techniques to the superior demands. However, the tentative conclusion was negative because of clarifying the lack of objectivity in applying the Innovation Architecture and the requirements to be improved further.
