Abstract(in English) In the field of digital signal processing, the frequency characteristics may be instantaneously changed according to the processing purpose. A variable digital filter(VDF) is a filter whose frequency characteristics can be easily and instantaneously changed. In the conventional variable filter, if the cutoff frequency changes, the stopband attenuation changes. Therefore, it becomes impossible to maintain the sufficient attenuation in a part of stopband. In this paper, we propose a design method for variable FIR filters with specified attenuation in part of stopband. The optimization methodology known as semi-definite programming(SDP) is used to design filter. In this optimization process, we add to the constraint on the specified attenuation in part of stopband. Through some example, the proposed filter shows sufficient attenuation in part of stopband despite the change of frequency characteristics.
