Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Various human-machine interfaces have been developed along with automation by machines and software. In this paper, directional sound sources are adopted to the interface because they are effective for directing attention when the user is looking away from the object to which attention should be directed originally. In this experiment, localization accuracy and reaction time when playing various sound stimuli from 8 directions were measured and qualitative research about how subjects react to those stimuli has been implemented. In order to identify factors of sound and direction contributing to localization and reaction, analysis was carried out using three kinds of methods, linear multiple regression analysis, decision tree and neural network.
