Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently, the function of digital signage as a map medium has drawn attention, and construction of a guidance method that urges pedestrians to memorize map information and effectively guides walking is required. In this paper, from the viewpoint of maximizing the walking inducing effect, we aimed to realize the optimum presentation method of the landmark considering the route characteristics, and conducted two subject experiments. One is walking experiments on paths of various shapes, and it clarifies the characteristics of the "easy-to-miss route". The other is to evaluate the effect of the landmark on the map. These findings are expected to serve as guidelines for aiming at optimum design of landmarks.
