| Abstract(in English) | In the Shinkansen train radio system, digital LCX (leaky coaxial cable) technology is currently adopted after analog wireless communication technology and analog LCX technology. This system requires high reliability over all lines. On the other hand, improvement of the quality and quantity of information and communication services within the Shinkansen train represented by the Internet is required. In this presentation, after reviewing each communication technology adopted for the Shinkansen train radio system, we introduce the efforts of the Advanced Railway System Development Center to increase the capacity of the Shinkansen train radio. Finally, we show our prospect of the Shinkansen train radio system. |
