Abstract(in English) In recent years, information and communication traffic have exponentially increased. So far, we have paid attention not only to the O-band but also the 1-um band. We have also studied quantum dot (QD) optical devices and heterogeneous integrated devices with QD and Si photonics-based PICs utilizing the O-band, such as QD heterogeneous tunable laser diodes (LD). In this paper, we present a Si-photonics-based QD heterogeneous tunable laser emitting in the 1-um band.
