Abstract(in English) | The IEEE 802.11n wireless local-area network (WLAN) has been broadly deployed world-wide due to the flexibility, low cost, and high-speed data transmission capability at 2.4GHz ISM band. One key challenge in the WLAN is to optimize the channel use of the access-points (APs) under the limited number of partially overlapping channels (POCs), to improve the overall performance by reducing radio interferences, particularly for usage of the channel bonding. In POCs, the frequency spectrums of adjacent channels are partially overlapped, which can cause interferences at concurrently communicating links using them. In this paper, we study the throughput estimation model for concurrent communications of two links under POCs and the channel bonding as the extension of the existing model, based on extensive measurement results. The throughput drop is calculated with the receiving signal strength (RSS) from the interfered link, which is subtracted from the estimated throughput by the original model. The accuracy of this model is verified by comparing the estimated results with the measured ones. |
