A dynamic sleep control method in delay tolerant wireless sensor networks

Abstract(in English) In wireless sensor network where data transmission delay is permitted, it is possible to decrease power consumption by applying a sleep control effectively to the network. In this report, we propose a power saving method by dynamic sleep control in a delay tolerant wireless sensor network. In the proposed method, a node not having any packet goes to sleep, and one having a packet keeps an active state until a node with which it can communicate appears. By computer simulation, we show effectiveness of the proposed method.
