Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recent development of measurement technology reveals that functional and structural networks of brains called “connectome” has unique topological properties such as scale-free, modularity, and small-world, which con- tribute to structural robustness of a connectome. However, a source of functional robustness of the brain against structural defects is still unclear. To reveal it, in this paper we investigate the relationship between structural properties of a RNN of a Liquid State Machine and the decrease in discrimination ability when experiencing loss of synaptic connections and neurons. As the result, we find clustering coefficients contributes to robust discrimination against structure defects.
