Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Wireless sensor networks (hereinafter, referred to as WSNs) are susceptible to eavesdrop, since a sensor node utilizes wireless multihop communication. Also, in the traditional single sink node model of WSNs, the single sink can be single-point-of-failure. Thus, we cannot acquire the measured data from WSNs in emergency situations such as disaster response. In order to counter the problems, we proposed the multiple gateway-based secure dispersed data transfer method that utilize the secret sharing scheme (hereinafter, referred to as the secure disperseddata transfer method). In the method, gateway candidate nodes are placed on the fringe of measurement filed of the networks. This placement strategy can be mitigate the pathfinding in the secure dispersed data transfer method, which requires node disjoint paths with less overlap area in wireless signal. In the placement strategy, however, the average hop-counts can be larger. In this paper, we propose a new gateway placement method to minimizethe hop-counts between source nodes and gateways. We also evaluated our proposed method through simulation experiments. As a result, we can improve data packet delivery ratio and reduce the amount of control packets, while we maintain path construction ratio as the existing method has.
