Abstract(in English) | Indoor Visible Light Communications, which have a dimming control function, a communication function without the interference from neighboring illumination apparatus and a positioning function are being considered. The Variable N-parallel Code-Shift-Keying (VN-CSK) system with Modified Prime Sequence Code (MPSC) has been proposed. The VN-CSK system can perform both dimming control function and communication function. Furthermore, this VN-CSK system can provide a positioning function by using a trilateration scheme with MPSC. The positioning performance of the VN-CSK system, however, has not been investigated. In this paper, positioning accuracy is evaluated by using three kinds of placement of the illumination apparatus. As a result, it is shown that the positioning accuracy depends on the placement of illumination apparatus. Moreover, it is shown that the positioning accuracy is remarkably deteriorated in the straight-line shape arrangement. |
