Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, in the teaching scenes between two persons, we proposed a method to estimate of objective intelligibility by image recognition. Specifically, we quantify the information obtained from student’s nonverbal behavior. The calculated feature quantity is projected to the subspace by using PCA and FDA, and it is identified in the space as two classes "understand" / "not understand" by the kNN method. As a result of the experiment, the F value of the "understand" class of the proposed method is 0.75 and the F value of the "not understand" class is 0.60, and for the F value of the "understand" class of the comparison method 0.38, and for the F value of "not understand" class 0.11.
