Abstract(in English) | In this study, we investigate feature quantities to realize person authentication using evoked brain waves when presenting invisible visual stimulation. In the previous studies, the power spectrum obtained by fast Fourier transform (FFT) of the measured evoked EEG data was used as an individual characteristic, but EER was about 41%. In this paper, we introduce a wavelet transform, a time-frequency analysis method, and convert brain wave for 1 second into scalogram. Towards the extraction of a new individual characteristic, based on the observation of the correlation of scalograms within individuals and between individuals, we confirm that half of the experimented subjects have high correlation value of intra-personal scalograms. It suggests that scalograms can be used extract individual features. |
