Improving Energy Self-Consumption Rate in Renewable Energy System

Abstract(in English) Under grid parity conditions, improving the energy self-consumption rate is important for economy in power procurement. Power supply systems that integrate solar power generation and storage batteries are being used not only for using renewable energy efficiently but also for back-up power supply. In this paper, we report on the results of testing a method in which the battery capacity for back-up is controlled by using robust optimization method, considering the uncertainty of the power generation forecasting.
