Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) JESPR is a freely-available open-source library for administering self-paced reading task experiments through a web browser. Experiments can be defined by setting various global parameters and listing stimuli in a JavaScript object file. Stimulus presentation can be customized in various ways such as randomization, moving window vs. cumulative presentation of regions, and horizontal vs. vertical orientation of regions. Experimental results are output in plain text and can be easily imported into analysis applications. For validation purposes, a replication of the robust agreement attraction phenomenon was performed with JESPR via crowd-sourcing. Results matching those of many earlier studies were obtained.
