[Invited Talk] Trends in InP-based optical modulator for digital coherent technology

Abstract(in English) The digital coherent optical transport technologies are key technologies for high capacity optical networks. An InP-based optical modulator is a promising candidate for next generation digital coherent systems because it has attractive features such as small size, low driving voltage and high-speed operation. In this paper, recent activities and trends in InP-based modulator are reviewed.
