Evaluation of Eye Movement Authentication for Difference of Moving Range of Gaze

Abstract(in English) The improvement of security for smartphone is required along with the popularization of smartphone. Biometric information used in the security system for smartphone are fingerprint and face. These recognition systems have a spoofing problem. To overcome this problem, we develop personal authentication method using eye movement as the smartphone security system when the range of eye movement is relatively small. In this paper, we evaluate accuracy of eye movement biometrics for the difference of moving range of gaze. We employ the DTW, features of eye movement and EMLBP for recognition. From the experimental results, EER obtained with DTW varied depending on the moving range of gaze.
