Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We report about resonant capacitive coupling wireless power transfer system prototyped in "Plastic Train Wireless Power Transfer Running Race Contest". In order to win this contest, the key is how much power can be supplied to the model train. In this paper, first of all, we calculated the trial calculation model of "resonant inductive coupling" and " resonant capacitive coupling " wireless power transfer topology and estimated the power that can be input to the model train motor in each method in the rule of the race. As a result of trial calculation of power that can be input from there, it became clear that there is almost no difference. However, the electric field resonance type was chosen for its manufacturing advantages. We have reduced the weight of the receiving coupler as a point of manufacturing. Then, when the power input to the motor was measured by the actual machine, it reached roughly the designed value. Therefore, we could win the contest from contrivance of topology selection and weight saving of the receiving coupler.
