Abstract(in English) | There are many network systems in the real world, for example, Internet, electricity network and traffic network. In this study, we consider Bi-objective network design problem, in which all-terminal reliability is maximizing all-terminal reliability and construction/operation/maintenance costs are minimized. In the general, it is a rare case that a network system considered in the problem has maximum all-terminal reliability and costs, that is, is optimum for both of all-terminal reliability and cost. Therefore, we consider more efficient algorithm for obtaining the Pareto solutions of above bi-objective network problem. In the existing studies, the algorithm for Pareto solutions of the all-terminal reliability and cost are proposed. However, these algorithms require much time to obtain Pareto solutions as the number of nodes or edges become large. So, we propose efficient algorithm for obtaining the Pareto solutions by genetic algorithm in this study. Numerical experiments shows the solutions by the proposed algorithm can be calculate bi-objective network as over 8 nodes. It is better than the existing algorithms. However, results of obtained rate of exact Pareto solutions shows that the proposed algorithm is not better than the existing algorithms. |
