Abstract(in English) In magnetic resonance coupling S/S topology of wireless power transfer, low coupling can cause to breakdown the resonance capacitor. Then, by adopting an open-end coil to self-resonate with parasitic capacitance, it is expected to maintenance-free of the underground primary-side system and cost reduction. We focuses on reducing the resistance of the coil for high power transfer and high efficiency. This paper proposes the coil with small ESR and proximity-effect resistance, and showes experimentally that the resistance reduction can be achieved.
