Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Steganalysis, which identifies the presence or absence of information hiding in digital contents, is important in order to detect covert communication which is regarded as a threat to security. In this paper, we focus on the steganalysis for the information hiding method ``Steghide'' which minimizes the influence of the lower-order bits of the acoustic waveform signal on the first order statistics. We show that high discrimination performance can be obtained by using statistics of high frequency components from overview of conventional steganalysis methods and frequency characteristics of cover signals. Moreover, by performing simulation experiments on speech signals, we show that the intensity of background noise and the characteristics of anti-aliasing filter affect the discrimination performance. Also, we propose a novel steganalysis that effectively utilizes the statistics of high frequency components and show that the discrimination performance is better than the conventional methods.
