Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Multimodal computer and communication services using several types of senses such as haptic and olfactory senses as well as audio visual senses are becoming reality. In such kinds of services, how to assess QoE (Quality of Experience) for users who are the final receivers of the services and how to carry out QoS (Quality of Service) control for improvement of QoE are very important. In this report, we take a remote robot system with haptic sense as an example of the services. Then, we describe the current state of QoE assessment and control technology and explain our future work and expectations from a view point of advancement of remote cooperation among humans and robots with haptic sense.
