Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | Multi-beam massive MIMO configuration has been proposed that utilizes the beam selection with high power in an analog part and blind algorithm such as constant modulus algorithm (CMA) which does not need channel state information (CSI) in a digital part. In the previous studies, ideal orthogonal multi-beams of linear arrays were used by computer simulations. However, it has not been considered in actual power losses and beam steering errors regarding the multi-beam patterns. When considering actual environment, 2-D multi-beams are essential. In this report, we measure the beam pattern formed the Butler matrix circuit and applied to the simulation. Furthermore, we evaluate the performance of planar array multi-beam Massive MIMO by using a planar array for the antenna. |
