Application of Stabilized Explicit Method to Isogeometric Analysis for 1-D Electromagnetic Analysis

Abstract(in English) In this report, we propose a technique that performs the space discretization by isogeometric analysis (IGA) and the time discretization by a stabilized explicit method to solve a one-dimensional wave equation. By using IGA, we can employ B-spline basis functions as the basis functions of the finite element method and obtain accurate numerical results by elevating the order of the basis function. Furthermore, by applying the stabilized explicit method, we can remove unstable modes from a semi-discrete equation and perform stable and fast analysis with a large time step size.
