Development of body core temperature computation method with arterial and venous temperatures taken into account

Abstract(in English) It is essential to analyze the time evolution of temperature elevation and sweating for evaluation of the adverse health effect for heat load on the human. Our group developed a thermodynamic computational code considering thermoregulatory response, such as blood flow and sweating. However, the blood temperature was approximately computed such that the first law of thermodynamics was satisfied. This paper implemented physical equations related to computation of arterial and venous temperature into our original code, and compared the temperature elevation computed with the experimental data in some heat scenarios. The computed results were match well with the measurements even at the temperature of each part of the skin.
