Abstract(in English) | Recently, data traffic is increasing because of smart devices widely spread and Zettabytes era is expected to be coming soon. Higher and large-capacity optical communication equipment is required in the data center due to data traffic concentration for cloud system. Introduction of WDM technology for standardized 100GE in 2009 have achieved the large-capacity data transmission by transmitted and received 25bps signals with different four wavelength. Additionally, as PAM4 which divides the signal amplitude into four levels is adopted in 400GE besides WDM technique, the optical modules and devices in short reach application begin to be needed to accommodate multilevel modulation. In this speech, we discuss the already developed assembly technique for WDM and the technique to enhance the bandwidth for 400GE and further speed. |
