A Basic Study on Transmission Interference Canceller in HetNet

Abstract(in English) HetNet which deployed multiple small cells using the same frequency inside the macro cell is expected as a technology for improving frequency utilization efficiency in mobile communication systems. In HetNet, to cancel or avoid the interference from a macrocell is essential to keep maintaining the frequency utilization efficiency. In this paper, we propose "network coordinated small cell transmission interference canceller", which cancels the interference from the macro cell by superimposing the cancellation signal on each small cell signal. In general, the transmission power of each small cell is limited. So we propose some control technologies considering maximum transmission power in small cells and evaluate the performance of proposed technologies by using Shannon capacity.
