IoT Device Identification Based on Similarity Analysis of Communication

Abstract(in English) Along with the expansion of the IoT (Internet of Things), managing a variety of enormous numbers of devices is being required. As a method that can be applied to various kinds of devices, we propose a method to automatically identify models and individual devices from communication of devices. In this paper, we show a system based on our device identification method, and a result of the experiment. By the experiment, we succeeded in correctly identifying five kinds of devices in a factory simulated environment and confirmed feasibility of the proposed method.
