Random access network with cloud-cooperated interference cancellation using adaptive number of transmit replicas

Abstract(in English) In this paper, we propose a new scheme to simultaneously receive multiple sensor signals based on Network MIMO technique in wireless sensor networks (WSNs). The slotted ALOHA type protocol with successive interference cancelation is considered as the basis of the scheme to meet the requirements of the IoT society with simple sensors. These kinds of scheme have the problem that there are typical sensor nodes (SNs) deployments which make it harder for fusion centers (FCs) to decode the packets from those SNs.The proposed method allows FCs to decode those packets by exploiting the signal separation method in network MIMO system. The results of the computer simulation show that the proposed method can increase the number of SNs whose data can be gathered without degrading the quality of service. Moreover, we evaluated the performance when each SN transmits multiple replicas when the number of replicas is adapted by differential evolution.
