Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, a human identification using Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO) array without wearable device and contact is proposed. This method measures the time-variant channel generated by a human body present within the field of an MIMO antenna. The captured data has the spatial and temporal information, which is caused by the shape of the human body and the vital signs, respectively. The spatial and temporal characteristics is used for identification by comparing the measured data to the reference data, and the subject is identified as the registrant with maximum correlation. Experiments using 8x8 MIMO array were carried out in a indoor environment with eight known subjects and four impostors. The results show that the proposed method can achieve the equal error rate of 0% when the number of identification channels is five and above.
