Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The objective of this work is to develop a monitoring system which collects biogeocenosis information with wireless networks from sensors attached on creatures in a river and to provide the information for a web server. The monitoring system sends data from underwater sensors to a node placed on the bank of a river, relays the data to a gateway station through wireless multihop networks, and the gateway node forwards the data to the web server. We show the outline of the system and technologies introduced for the data transmission, including wireless multihopping and data synchronizing functions.
