Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In order to achieve high energy-efficiency of wireless sensor networks (WSNs), on-demand WSN has been proposed, where a wake-up receiver is applied to each sensor node. In this paper, we focus on One-Shot Data (OSD) model, where each sensor node has a single sensing data to transmit to a sink node. Then, we consider top-k data collection, where the sink attempts to collect information on the set of nodes that own top-k observations of sensing data. As wake-up control, we apply identity-based unicast and broadcast wakeup and contents-based wakeup that conducts wake-up control based on the observed contents. In this paper, we theoretically analyze data collection delay and energy-efficiency of each wake-up control when we employ p-persistent CSMA as a MAC protocol, and investigate the effectiveness of each wake-up control with obtained numerical results.
