Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Kabuki is not a narrative genre in the narrow sense and is a genre that synthesizes elements in dramas and performing arts. However, a kabuki work collects diverse narrative methods and techniques including a variety of elements that we cannot see in modern and contemporary narratives. In this study, we show a framework for a synthesized treatment of kabuki narratives and select several elements in the framework, including persons and stories, to consider and analyze the methods and techniques of narrative generation.
