[Invited Talk] Robot System to Connect Vehicle and Human

Abstract(in English) Recently, the development and research of self-driving technology are actively undertaken. However, the self-driving technology should perform vehicle control and give information to a driver, considering a person’s existence for providing a sense of ease to ride the vehicle. In this research, we intend to realize an automatically cornering control to provide less feeling of strangeness, which make a decision like a human being by developing the human’s sense model. Moreover, we use a robot to provide the information of the human’s sense model and the information of the decision making of the vehicle system to a human. We intend to provide an operating status of the vehicle system for a human intuitive and not annoy by using a non-verbal interaction of a robot. This paper describes examples of the perception model while reaching objects, and the robot interaction.
