| 抄録(和) | 本研究は，日本人英語学習者を対象として，英語の「文構造親密度」（Yokokawa et al., 2017）が文産出にどのような影響を与えるかについて，絵描写課題の結果から検討したものである。その結果，口頭および筆記 産出において，文構造親密度と二重目的語構文（Ditransitive）および与格構文（Dative Transitive）の産出割合との間には中程度以上の相関があり，親密度の高い文構造の産出割合が高かったことから，文構造親密度が日本人英語学習者の文産出に影響する可能性があることを示した。また，口頭産出では単純他動詞文（Simple Transitive）の 産出が多く見られた一方で，筆記産出では口頭産出と比較してより完全な文（与格構文）で産出する傾向が見られたことから，口頭産出では発話計画を行う概念化の段階で認知負荷がかかっている可能性がある。このように産出モダリティによって産出される文構造に違いが見られたことから，口頭および筆記産出においてメンタルレキシコン内の統語構造はモダリティ間で共有されていても，モダリティによって構文の選好性やアクセスのしやすさが異なることが示唆された。 |
| 抄録(英) | The present study aims to examine how Sentence Construction Familiarity (SCF) (Yokokawa et al., 2017) affects Japanese EFL learners’ (JEFLLs) sentence production during a picture description task. The results show that SCF is moderately related to the production of ditransitive and dative transitive construction in both oral and written production and that JEFLLs tend to produce sentence constructions with a higher SCF, indicating that SCF may affect L2 sentence production. In addition, the study finds that JEFLLs are likely to produce more complete sentences in written production than in oral production. This suggests that cognitive load is applied during conceptualization, the process in which the message to be conveyed in oral production is planned. The findings indicate that there is variation among the sentence constructions produced by JEFLLs. Further, although syntactic constructions in mental lexicon are shared between modalities, preference and accessibility of constructions differ depending on output modality. |
