The Search Performance of Hybrid Particle Swarm Optimizers with Information Sharing

Abstract(in English) As an earlier study, author proposed multiple particle swarm optimizers with information sharing, and showed that the methods have good search performance and effectiveness. Due to focus on the mixed effect of different particle swarm search, in this paper, we develop particle multi-swarm optimizers with higher search capability and diversity. For this purpose, it is realized by the configuration of particle multi-swarm with different search features. After constructing the particle swarm optimizers, in addition to incorporating strategies with information sharing, we propose hybrid particle swarm optimizers with information sharing. Here, the key idea is to perform the multi-swarm search that simultaneously take the balance between global search and local search. To clarify the performance and effect of the proposed method by information sharing in the multi-swarm search, computer experiments of a suite of benchmark problems are carried out, we investigate search feature and performance effect from the experimental results obtained.
