Analysis of Stealth Marketing based on Imitative Dynamics with Reference to Another Customer's Evaluation on Current Action

Abstract(in English) In recent years, the online shopping has become common. Since there is no common standard in the evaluation on the review site, it may not be appropriate for each customer to directly compare his own evaluation value with others. In such a case, we often refer to others' reviews in order to relatively evaluate the products that we currently use. In this paper, we propose a novel pairwise proportional imitative protocol that the customer considers not only his own payoff but also a review on his current product. We also derive the mean dynamics from the proposed imitative protocol, and compare it with the case without considering the evaluation of others. In addition, we analyze the influence of stealth marketing on the proposed model.
