Abstract(in English) Direct RF undersampling receiver has been developed to reduce the size. Sampling clock jitter degrades the reception performances (i.e., SNR and EVM) of the S/H IC especially in the case of higher order undersampling. In this paper, we derive an equation of clock jitter dependence on received SNR and EVM. Then we evaluate them in actual measurement by using a fabricated 28 GHz-band direct RF undersampling receiver and a clock signal source with variable jitter noise. The measured results show good agreement with the calculated results from the derived equation. In order to achieve SNR of more than 40 dB, the clock jitter should be less than 350 fs (r.m.s.).
